Lindsay J.A. Simmons

VP of the Pacific Northwest Region and General Manager

Ms. Lindsay Simmons is the VP of the Pacific Northwest Region and General Manager of SRI-owned, Alaska-based cultural resource management (CRM) firm Northern Land Use Research Alaska. She joined the SRI team in 2023 with over 18 years of professional experience in CRM. Ms. Simmons has a master’s degree in anthropology from the University of Cincinnati. She is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (No. 989234) and meets the Secretary of Interior standards (36 CFR 61) in archaeology. She specializes in field survey strategies, archaeological excavation techniques, ceramic analysis, and material culture studies.

Ms. Simmons provides operational support for SRI projects in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Her expertise in the areas of planning and scheduling complex inter-related projects assures that SRI projects are carried out in a timely, cost-effective manner and meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

She currently serves as the Secretary of the American Cultural Resources Association and is a member of the Society for American Archaeology and the Alaska Anthropological Association.
