SRI’s Cartography and Geospatial Technologies (CAGST) Department supports government agencies, Tribal organizations, land managers, academic researchers, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, public utilities, and private-sector consultants with geospatial data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and interpretation.

SRI established its in-house cartography and geospatial data-management department in 1997, allowing us to provide clients with integrated geospatial capabilities without relying on subcontractors. For more than 25 years, the CAGST Department has combined experienced professionals, advanced technology, and efficient, project-specific methods to support work throughout the United States and internationally. We take pride in our technical expertise, commitment to research excellence, and ability to develop practical geospatial solutions that support planning, regulatory compliance, resource management, and informed decision-making.

SRI is an Esri Business Partner and uses industry-leading geographic information system (GIS) technology to develop efficient, scalable, and interoperable solutions. Our team applies current GIS practices to connect field and office workflows, manage complex spatial data, automate routine processes, and support collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
