Title: Crew Technicians (multiple; on-call)

Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI), a multidisciplinary cultural resource consulting firm, is looking to increase our roster of on-call Crew Technicians for upcoming projects in northern Central California, e.g. Mariposa, Merced, Tuolumne, and Stanislaus counties. Work in this region will primarily consist of archaeological monitoring and survey. SRI provides comprehensive CRM services to private and government clients at the federal, state, and local levels throughout the western United States with additional offices in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Washington.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified candidates should possess, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field and have completed an accredited archaeological field school or internship. Candidates must also have a minimum of 1 year of field experience (i.e., survey, testing, and data recovery) and be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions (i.e., extreme heat or cold). Candidates should also have good organizational skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks. Prior experience in California is required.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $21- $25 per hour, depending on experience. Daily food allowance and lodging, when applicable based on the project, will be provided during field sessions. All employees are eligible to accrue PTO hours.
