Dr. Diane Douglas Joins SRI Foundation as New Director of Cultural Heritage and Climate Research

Dr. Diane Douglas, former SRI Chief Marketing Officer, is now Director of Cultural Heritage and Climate Research at the SRI Foundation, effective January 18, 2010. In her new position, she will conduct research on and identify best practices that address the impacts of climate change on heritage resources both nationally and internationally. She will also assist Foundation staff with several ongoing programs.

Dr. Douglas is a recognized expert in the field of climate change, and one of her primary responsibilities will be training and providing guidance to heritage resource managers of various agencies on how to identify and mitigate the impacts of climate change on tangible and intangible heritage resources. SRI sincerely appreciates all of Dr. Douglas’s efforts during her tenure at SRI and wishes her all the best in her new role at the SRI Foundation.
