SRI Book Receives Honor

The Pima County Public Library (Arizona) has announced that Life in the Past Lane: The Route 66 Experience: Historic Management Contexts for the Route 66 Corridor in California (SRI Technical Series 86) has been named to its list of Southwest Books of the Year 2006. This book, authored by Matt C. Bischoff and prepared by SRI for the Bureau of Land Management, takes the famous highway and places it in the larger context of U.S. history through prose, maps, and photographs.
