Paleoenvironmental and Geosciences Department
SRI offers services in geoarchaeology, geomorphology, soil science, paleoecology, and paleoethnobotany. The department is directed by Dr. Jeffrey Homburg, who has worked on more than 100 archaeological projects and completed dozens of geoarchaeological studies in the United States, Mexico, and Africa. Examples of the various types of special services that this department can provide include geoarchaeology, buried-site modeling, paleoenvironmental reconstruction, agricultural modeling, and paleoethnobotancial analyses.
